Seton Hall trails No.1 Syracuse at the half

Heading on to the road for their first Big East game of the season the Seton Hall Pirates trail No. 1 Syracuse 34-15 at the half.

The Hall struggled offensively against the Orange's 2-3 zone committing 15 turnovers while only shooting 18.5 percent from the field.

Senior Jordan Theodore led the team in scoring with 10 points while sophomore Fuquan Edwin was second on the team with 3 points.

Leading the Orange is junior Brandon Triche and sophomore Dion Waiters with 8 points apiece.

To start the half the Pirates fell behind Syracuse 8-1 before senior Herb Pope made a lay-up cutting the score down to 8-3.

The Orange extended their lead to 10 points on two free throws from sophomore Baye Moussa Keita with 11:28 remaining in the first half, making the score 13-3.

At the end of the first half Syracuse went on a 12-1 run to extend their lead to 19 points at the half.
