No favors for Kelly Clarkson on latest album

Kelly Clarkson has come a long way in and out of the social scene since her American Idol win. Her new album "Stronger," released Oct. 21, is more than anything else her attempt to mold into the current trends of pop music.

Since her time on Idol, Clarkson has proven that she has a very solid, raw voice. Unfortunately, this album is very forgettable. The disc's first single, "Mr. Know It All," is admittedly catchy and features her typical power-to-the-girls lyrics, but after that everything is practically identical.

The title track, "What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)" is one of her most auto-tuned pieces to date and the electronic backbeat is louder than her voice.

Miss Independent seems to have sold out on this one.
