FreeCycle’s BMX takes University Day to new heights
The BIG Air Show is back again at Seton Hall. FreeCycle’s BMX show will once again be the main event at this year’s University Weekend. The event will take place on the University Green on Saturday, Oct. 1 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The FreeCycle Action Sports Team, a performance and entertainment company that specializes in extreme BMX, Skateboarding and Street Bike shows, has been dedicated to educating and motivating both children and adults for years through their intense stunts and comical routines in their variety of shows. According to the FreeCycle Action Sports Team’s website, it’s not just BMX athletes this year, because skateboarding has been added to the show.
The team is made up of athletes from all over the country, including trained professionals who have competed in events like the X Games and Vans Triple Crown.
The organization has performed for many schools, fairs, amusements parks and more performed for many schools and fairs on the East Coast.
The jam-packed performance will be accompanied by high energy music to get the crowd going.
According to the FreeCycle website, the BIG Air Show provides autograph sessions with the professionals after the performances. There will also be free giveaways, such as t-shirts and posters for the members of the audience.
“I have seen parts of the show the past two years,” said Elizabeth Parr, sophomore. “I would definitely like to stop by to [see] how the show has been changed. There were a lot of kids and families, as well as Seton Hall students, [there] in the past (s.i.c.).”
It is a great part of University Weekend, because it is a show that the entire family will enjoy watching.
The BIG Air Show is sure to bring out a large crowd. Make sure not to miss out on the excitement this Saturday.
