Former Pirate Robinson signs pro contract with Austrian team

Following his senior season at Seton Hall, forward Jeff Robinson has signed a pro contract with BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld in Austria.

Robinson is coming off of a season where he was the only Pirate to start every game and was the second leading scorer on the team with 12.1 points per game.

"I'm really happy for Jeff," Pirate head coach Kevin Willard said in a Seton Hall press release. "He's put in a significant amount of hard work and effort to prepare himself for this opportunity. He certainly deserves any success that comes his way in the future. We wish him the best of luck overseas."

In his one and a half seasons with the Hall after transferring from the University of Memphis, Robinson scored 667 points and recorded six double-doubles.

He scored a career high 25 points in an 84-83 loss to Marquette in 2010, and had one of his best games later that season in the NIT versus Texas Tech scoring 23 points and pulling down 12 rebounds in the loss.
