Hall adds former Ole Miss guard

The fifth addition of the 2010-2011 men's basketball recruiting class is recent Ole Miss graduate and guard Eniel Polynice.

Today Kevin Willard announced that Polynice has signed a nation letter of intent to attend Seton Hall University and will be eligible to play for the Pirates this year due to a waiver from the NCAA.

The NCAA is allowing Polynice to play because he graduated Ole Miss this past year with one year left of eligibility left to play basketball.

Because Ole Miss does not have a graduate program for Polynice's field of study, communications, he is able to continue his education without having to sit a year out at a college that does.

Polynice's career with the Rebels spanned three seasons in four years. He was a medical redshirt for the 2008-2009 season because he was recuperating from knee surgery. Polynice averaged eight points and four rebounds a game at Ole Miss, and accumulated over 300 assists.

Last season, Polynice led his team in assists18 times. He had his strongest game of the year against Alabama State when he scored a season high 17 points, along with eight boards and seven assists.

Polynice brings experience to the Pirates, as he is this season's only recruit that will not be a true freshman.
