Hall and Quinlan likely to part ways

Seton Hall athletic director Joe Quinlan will reportedly be leaving the university at the end of the school year, Jerry Carino of the NJ Hoops Haven blog reported.

In his blog, Carino said that "four sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed that Quinlan's contract was not renewed when it expired in September."

The sources also state that "Quinlan has been working on an 'at-will' basis, which is unusual for someone in his position."

Quinlan is in his fifth year as athletic director. He took the position in September 2005.

Carino also reports that a search has already begun for his replacement.
