Women get past turnover-prone Peahens

The women's basketball team defeated the St. Peter's Peahens, 54-52, on Saturday afternoon at Prudential Center.

Seton Hall improved its record to 7-4 on the season, largely in part to 25 turnovers by St. Peter's in the game.

Forward Kandice Green led all scorers with 24 points and 12 rebounds, while guard Ebonie Williams added 16 points in 38 minutes of action.

The game was one of two contests for the team at the men's home court. On Jan. 2, Connecticut will travel to downtown Newark for a 2 p.m. matchup.

The Hall returns to Walsh Gymnasium on Monday at 1 p.m. where they will meet UC Davis.
